Nice foggy morning later turning out to be beautiful sunny day. Last time remember doing event in carnation where greenway partnering with county. It was nice thing to plant trees, moving around dirt with many volunteers.

Beautiful typical PNW day, little drizzle as expected in fall.
Planting number of trees at hope creek, many plants needed extra bit of soil. Number of enthusiastic volunteers doing great work.
Oct 14 - 2017
Entire summer was real busy on/ off with different treks, hikes, bike rides. Vienna to Czech republic hiking, mt. hood women's adventure, Iceland hiking etc, reach the beach bike ride. and many other things.
Missed out on couple of cool events given that was out of town. But sat. 14 oct. finally beautiful fall day for some tree planting , hauling mulch. Number of awesome volunteers, amazing music and food. It has always been pleasure to volunteer with great people. Besides thanks for the kind words Greenway you had for me yesterday and for many others too. Thanks again.

Saturday was nice with removing blackberries working with very grounded teenagers, really kudos to their parents and friend circle and many other people in their lives. Nice new park, But I guess many different places are always new locations.
Sunday was really great with restoring trail section, basically to deter people from entering there. One of the best tool was log-hauler, I wish they could have something like that for moving big rocks. Moving many logs, making pegs with hand saw, hauling plenty duff and covering up as if some storm came in here. Besides building of new trail. Very nice groups working together and nice set of individuals.

National trails day- June 3- 2017
Amazing day for some legwork (7 plus miles) plus putting muscles to work and much more. Had great time and fun doing volunteer work on trail with nice group of people. Demolishing old walkway, building new, hauling rocks etc .... #optoutside #hike #trailwork #volunteer

Beautiful day for trail work. Number of amazing people, pros who have worked since long, new bees and some with little bit of experience.
Laughing, sharing stories , workloads and having fun at the same time. Hauling buckets of soil, rocks, digging ditches for the base foundation logs to be laid out, hammering rebars in the logs, making things look natural.
Overall productive day with fun filled enthusiastic group.

Arbor day trail work
What an amazing day, Arbor day, number of volunteers and several organizations came together to put up a very well arranged event. Planting trees, building trail ( never knew can carry 3 buckets of mulch at a time ) Nice trail passing through beautiful trees. Early morning almost 4 hours of productive work. Kudos to everyone !!

Beautiful day for doing some trail work. Nice set of people. Cleaning up debri, moving rocks, cutting branches, tree stumps and much more. Mcleod, hand saw came in real handy.

After all nursery events, beautiful day finally out in the field. Removing blackberries, it felt kind of too early for the same but soggy soil is perfect for getting it out of the ground easily. Kudos to all volunteers for enjoying the rain and getting the work done.

Awesome day, initially there was some different site but got changed due weather. Had a great day planting "serviceberry" " roseplants" with nice set of volunteers. Some mulch hauling. Nice day for outdoors. So many people around but managed some empty shots ..

Today was Optoutside day. Perfect for getting some work done. Number of volunteers planting trees. Beautiful morning and start of the day.
MLk Weekend
Beautiful PNW cold mornings and perfect for breaking some sweat. Nice days of hauling mulch and planting. Volunteer turnout was amazing. Great work done by awesome people.
Winter preparation
New year new start, welcome 2017 !!
This is kind of rough season there can be snow, frost, freezing temperatures. Still it was a beautiful day to break a sweat. The mulch pile was high up solid frozen at the top with sheet of ice on it. Breaking into it was real work.
We had to prepare the plants for actual planting season.
Even in these freezing temperatures number of volunteers lined up for filling buckets, transferring mulch. Some were busy transferring plants, preparing beds.
Initially everyone was cold and by the time we started actual physical work it was time to take off some layers. Over all productive morning.
